For my little ballerina!

A year ago my daughter was able to get her first pair of pointe shoes.  This has been one of her goals since she was a little girl in her first pink ballet slippers and tutu!  I was so proud when I watched her first pointe performance, and I will neither confirm nor deny whether tears were present that night as I watched her dance!  After asking me for months if we could do a pointe shoe photo shoot, I finally caved.  Before we hung this first pair up in the shadow box, we figured we might as well have some fun with them!  She is already on to her second pair and getting ready to perform in her first Nutcracker in a few weeks!  She is ecstatic!  Me, well, I look at these pictures and just can't help the tears.  I'm just so proud of my girl!  She has worked so hard and is living her dreams!  

I love you, my darling...my sweet, beautiful ballerina!

 

 

Preview for one of my faves!

I know I've said it before, but I love doing Senior pictures - especially when that Senior is my beautiful niece!  A few weekends ago we were up in Breckenridge and I was able to take these pictures in the middle of the gorgeous fall colors!  We didn't have to go far to find a spot that had everything we needed!  I love Colorado in the Fall, and I'm so excited this darling Texan got to enjoy it with me, I love her to to the Lonestar State and back!

 

  

 

  

  

 

Sneak Peak for the Queisner Family

We have known this family pretty much since we moved to Colorado almost 13 years ago!  We are so lucky to have such awesome friends!  I can't believe they already have one graduate, and two more seniors this year, how fast time truly does fly!  I guess that means my own kids are growing up on me too!  Thank you for letting me spend a fun, rainy evening with you guys!  It was looking pretty sketchy, but I think we lucked out and were able to get some fun shots!

 I was lucky enough to be able to take baptism pictures for his sister a couple of years ago, and now it is this handsome boy's turn! I love this family!  Their mom is one of my dearest friends, so not only do I get to take pictures of a super cute boy, but I get to hang out with people I love! This was so much fun! Thank you for letting me be a part of this special time!
